Great bed for camping or at the house

I have the full size version of this bed and I absolutely love it! It's great for camping trips and the portable pump that works on batteries is great when you have no place to plug in the pump. It is also nice because I can inflate my raft with the pump as well. I have taken this bed on many camping trips and it has never lost air and appears to be holding up great. The fact that it is a little higher than most beds is also a nice feature it makes getting up out of bed a little easier in the morning. This is also just a great bed to have around the house if you have guests staying the night.



I read a previous review that stated the "coils" rusted on the bed but this is an inflatable bed and doesn't have metal coils or any metal anywhere for that matter. This is a great bed for the price and versatility.

Nice design but the smell!

The mattress worked as advertised and I wasted only a little time

figuring out how to turn on the air pump---it pumps only when

attached. The biggest problem is the "new plastic" smell which

remained quite obnoxious even after 3 days of airing out the

fully inflated mattress (at room temperature). At that point all

I could do was apologize to my house guest. One reviewer

recommended giving any new Aerobed at least a couple of days to

air out before its first use. I would change that advice to strongly

GREAT bed

I bought this bed for my 3 year old for travel/vacations. He had been using a toddler travel bed but he would roll over the sides of it and end up on the floor. This bed blows up within a minute with the electric pump (enclosed) and is a breeze to deflate. This bed comes with a cover so your child isn't laying on plastic. The cover comes off for easy washing. This bed will take standard twin sheets so no expense of buying special sheets. My son loves it so much that he will ask to sleep in this instead of his regular bed.More detail ...
